No workout for me today. I did try walking around the house a bit without the crutches and it's bearable, but it still hurts and stairs are a definite no-go. It looks like I'll be crutching my way through the airport for my trip to Fort Collins after all. That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to carry a week's worth of stuff with me including a mega-giant-20lb-text-book in my backpack. boo :(

Oh that sucks Mike. Maybe the airport will give you a ride on one of their golf cart thingies.

YOu should over exagerate your injury and someone will help you!

WOW, that new torture device (bike) looks crazy. I have never seen anything like that!

Hope you are fairing well on your trip and back home soon. And fill us in on how you are feeling!

I'm suffering a bit from exam fatigue, but my leg is feeling pretty good! I think I'll toss the crutches when I get home, which should be soon. I'm at DIA right now waiting for a flight to Salt Lake City, then on to Seattle :)

How was Fort Collins? Were you able to get rid of the crutches?

From rattletrap on Wed, Jul 29, 2009 at 13:33:18 from 70.192.4.25

Fort Collins was all work and no play :( I did pass all the exams required for Microsoft's MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification so it was time well spent anyway :)

I'm off the crutches today and feeling just ok. I'll probably wait until next week to try using the stationary bike...

BABY STEPS---the crutches are gone!

Good luck next week with the bike.

HOW ARE YA DOING????

From Burt on Wed, Aug 05, 2009 at 17:56:24 from 68.76.197.194

Yeah Mike, what's new?

From rattletrap on Wed, Aug 05, 2009 at 21:23:57 from 24.19.93.139

I'm still off the crutches and able to ride my bike to work. Still no "work outs" on the bike though. I'm spending an hour on the hand bike almost every day just so I don't get too lazy. I see the doc on Monday and will hopefully go straight from there to the Y for some work on the bike or elliptical.

Going up and down stairs is still painful in the back of my knee so I don't think I'll be running any time soon.

My nice flat October marathon in Richland is starting to look more like a hilly one in Seattle late November.

Dang, I was hoping for better news. I hope you get it on Monday from the Doctor. Hang in there!!!
