Oooh it warmed up to 11°. I'm glad I didn't plan a really long run for this weekend, I don't think I could handle these temps for more than an hour. I'm a generating a lot of laundy with all these layers. I'm sure Kym is glad I'm not running 6 days a week. I'm hoping every other day and a long run every other weekend will be sufficient to maintain where I'm at until a couple months before the Green River Marathon. I feel like I'm up to the BQ task now, but I don't want to pay big $ to run in a winter marathon since Boston reg. is closed for '10.

11 degrees is warm! I knwo it sounds gross...but I just keep hanging my clothes up to dry and then re wear them the next day. They don't stink and even if they did who is going to sniff me? LOL

I'll sniff you April. I will.

Just kidding :)

April27 - I recycle my sweatpants like that once in a while, but my shirts just get too nasty.

Burt - I can send you one of the those shirts to sniff, but it probably wouldn't be the same :)

I sweat like crazy, cold or not. No recycling here! However, the clothes stink even when you wash them, I need to go buy more of that special detergent!!

I wish i could mail you some funeral potatoes, there are the next best thing to tempura veggies!!!'

I think your training plan sounds very smart, and I agree with not spending a ton since darn Boston closed so early.

I buy it at Sports Authority. It is almost $7 for a little bottle, so I do not use it every time, but every few times my clothes need it! It works pretty darn well.
