5:00am

Another 80 minutes on the REX machine today before work. I'm actually off on flex time for most of the day now(except for a couple meetings) since I was there all day on Sunday. This was a great workout, but the sweat issue has to be dealt with. It is out of control! I'm going to walmart today to find a fan I can set up next to me. There is an electrical outlet in the floor right by the machine, I hope they don't mind me using it. I am so relieved that this is working for me, I think it's about as close as I can get to running with out stressing the hams. I'm getting my cardio now and my leg is feeling better each day. I may keep doing this in addition to running if I even get back to running before the race.

Good news about the leg. If anyone says anything about how much you sweat, do what I do. Give them a great big hug!

Burt - That's really disgusting! I don't think you understand just how much sweat we're talking about here. You do know what's going to happen now if I ever see you after a race :)

Nobody sweats as much as me. I would squeeze you and you'd pop right out.

Very entertaining...any who...i'm glad to see that you still plan on running the race and that your leg is feeling better.

April - Thanks, I'm glad we could entertain you :)

My leg is still not 100%, but it's getting close enough that I might try running on it again Friday.

And you will wait until Friday, right?

So, I went to the UPS store today ta talk about mailing sugar cookies. They told me I could try it but that the frosting would probably melt (unless I sent them in some refrigerated package that costs a fortune and they do not even have). Then, I went to Kneader's to get their advice and they laughed at me. I told them this was very important to me, but they said they felt it would go better on a plane with me than in the mail (they are soft and will smoosh). SO, you are just gonna have to wait until Boston for the sugar cookies. MORE MOTIVATION TO GET THERE----will run for cookies! BUT I will bake something almost as good that is mailable!!!

Unless PT tells me different I will wait until Friday! I'm going to "run" on the REX tomorrow and Wednesday then rest on Thursday.

I guess I can wait on those sugar cookies since I don't know what I'm missing anyway :)
