No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

6 "easy" miles. My left achilles did not feel good until I got a couple miles in. It was fine for the last half of the run, then it tightened up again when I stopped. I'll be stretching a lot today! My right foot was ok except for my big crooked toe. I think the bunion on that foot is causing a pinched nerve or maybe tendonitis in that toe. I'm sure glad all these issues didn't crop up before the B2B. My heart rate was through the roof on this little run, but it sure felt good to get back out there!!

Not sounding so good Rattle! Glad your stress fracture is healed and you can get out again. Wish all I had to heal was a stress fracture!

I'm feeling good, if old and fat is good. I was planning to burn up the course in Tacoma next May. Now I'm not so sure...

From DLTheo on Tue, Sep 04, 2012 at 15:18:27 from 155.130.107.41

May's a long ways away. I'm still hoping to burn up the course, too, even though the knee is far from it.
