I had to wait to run this morning as my Step-son Mason was leaving for Mexico City this morning on his mission and he was going to call us from the airport and I didn't want to miss him, after saying our goodby's I headed out to Payson Park but cut out the rollers. The pace was nice and easy at 8:41 and my total time was 53:53, my Hamstring did okay but it was tight but I got her done. No time for weight training as I have to get ready to head to a movie

Good luck Mason and be safe!

See ya tomorrow.

Hammy would not let me run today so I had to resort to the good old elliptical, 5.2 miles in 50 minutes. No pain when on the elliptical so I guess I'll be on that for a while, I will try running in the morning but if there's pain then I'll be on the elliptical. Kind of a bummer but it is what it is and I seem to be getting use to all the set backs, at least I'm consistent at that!

See ya tomorrow.

My leg felt pretty good so I headed out to Mini GU and then back to the house, pace was nice and easy at 8:44 and my total time was at 53:23... I felt like I could have went more but decided not to push it and just called it a day. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then some push-ups, I think the problem with my leg is a pinched nerve and I don't think its my hamstring so hopefully its just going to take some time to calm down. If I can still run with not to much problem then all is good...

See ya tomorrow.

I ran in the afternoon again today and what a beautiful day! I ran in shorts and it was so nice, I ran up Harry's Hill and then over to Harvest Ridge down to the Stake Center and then over to woodland hills drive and then back to the house via canal road. Pace was easy at 8:39 with two of the miles sub 8 minute miles, (7:54), (7:59). My legs did not want to go at first but seemed to get a little better after Harry's Hill, my left legs was a little bit of a bother on the downhill but not so much on the flat area's. My total time for the run was 57:41.  Its been nice running on these warmer days but when next week starts I will be up and at em in the early morning, it will be a tough adjustment!

See ya tomorrow.

I was able to get out the door just after  7:30 and the plan was to go as far as I could but not over do it... I ran out to Gu Corner  and then back to the house, after that I headed out towards the old barn and out to Payson and then back to the house. My pace was slow at first and then I was able to get into a pretty good rhythm and just went with it. The last half mile or so my legs were really feeling it but I held on pretty good. My average pace was 8:29 with my total time at 1:42:48, my leg seemed to do pretty good after it got loosened up, I stretched it pretty good after the run and I hit with the big foam roller so I am hoping it will be on the mend soon.

See ya Monday.

Happy New Year everyone!!!!
