The old leg is feeling a little bit better today, its still not runnable but it does seem to be improving. I'm hoping that I won't have to be sidelined much longer, worse case senerio is another week best case is probably towards the end of the week I can try a run. But again, that all depends on how it is feeling. I can pretty much walk with no pain and it only bothers me when I'm walking sometimes, so I think I'm on the right track I'll just have to continue to be patient.

See ya tomorrow.

The leg is feeling even better today which is a good sign! I could probably run but the PT wants me to wait and make sure the pain is completely gone before I resume running. How much fitness can I lose in 2 weeks is the question for me to have answered? Can anyone out there give me any advice on that issue?

See ya tomorow.

My calf is feeling pretty good so I have been given the green light to try a run tomorrow, Saturday, and see how it does. I'm excited to see how it does and hopfully get back into traning after a 2 week hiatis! Its been a long two weeks that's for sure! I have ran around alittle by the house and it seems pretty good but we will see how it does after 3 or 4 miles, that will be the true test.

See ya tomorrow.

First run in two weeks and my calf and shin did really well, my calf was a little sore but it was more stiffness than sore so I was pleasantly surprised. My legs kept wanting to run fast but I had to keep reeling them in they were really wanting to go! My average pace was 8:26 with my total time at 43:06, my HR average was at 150, I didn't feel like I was working real hard and my lungs felt good but I new the HR rate would be high with the two weeks off. After the run I did some strength training on my legs and then stretched really well and then topped that off with some ice on my calf... I hope my calf feels good enough to run on Monday it was really fun today and it was such a beautiful day I didn't want to stop:)

See ya Monday.
