I ran on the canal this morning and just kept the pace nice and easy, I wanted to try out my leg and see how it is doing and I felt really good... No pain in my ITband area and my hip felt pretty good, I decided to extend for another mile after returning to the house, so it was pretty good. My average pace was 8:39 with my total time at 44:06, my HR average was at 154, that is way high for that pace so I think it is acting up cuz I haven't used it in a while. I didn't feel like I was breathing real hard so it must be getting a low battery. After the run I did my upper body weight training and some push-ups, so a good day. I forgot to mention that last Thursday my daughter Abby was named all Region for drill team and then they won Region Championship the same day and it was so awesome!!! They beat Maple Mountain, it was so special they swept all three dances!!! Abby has worked so hard the last 2 years and it is great to see her go out as senior being Region Champs and making the All Region team, pretty awesome!!! Way to go Girls!!!

See ya tomorrow.

I ran after work and I ran out to Mini GU and back. Pace was easy and labored but I stuck with it, average pace was 8:40 with my total time at 53:04. It was a nice day out and even though I felt tired and clunky it was still a good day to get a run in. After the run I did my upper body weight training and then some push-ups, so it was a pretty good day as far as just getting a workout in.

See ya tomorrow.

I hit the elliptical today after work. My IT Band was a little sore after my run yesterday so I opted to cross train today. 6.25 miles in 60 minutes, my HR was in the 145 to 150 range the whole way so a pretty good workout. After that I did some leg lifts and some calf raises and then rolled my leg with the big foam roller and now I am icing, fun!

See ya tomorrow.

I ran the Payson Park loop but cut out the rollers, my legs were feeling pretty good but by the end it was feeling more like a death March! But it was a good run  and I'm glad to get it in, Its Abby's state drill competition today so I will have no time other than this morning. I'm so proud of her! This is her last competition as she is a senior and will be graduating, scary! Average pace for the run was 8:38 with a total time of 53:47, HR average was 146, even though it felt like a death at the end I think I had a negative split on the way back, weird!

See ya tomorrow.

Things just didn't work out today as far as running. I wasn't able to get out this morning and then my son Ethan had a basketball game and then life got in the way of the rest. It will probably do my IT-band some good to take it easy any way, so there you have it.

See ya Monday.
