Ran the Payson canyon this morning, Started at beer can and then ran 8 miles down the canyon, very steep and a nice workout. I ran with Chad and Dan and his wife Carolyn and we had some good conversation and it was a good run. The plan is to do this run once a week and I think we increase it a little each week so it should give me a good dose of downhill training. My quads are really burning right now! Average pace was 7:54 but I had some 7:40 miles in the middle so I hope to increase my turn over each week and hopefully these miles will get quicker each week, total time was 1:01:31. I also added in some one legged squats after I stretched, I might run tomorrow but it depends on how I feel after today's run if I do run it will be short and slow. See ya tomorrow.
