My son Ethan wanted to do 7 miles this morning so I had him head out to mini Gu corner and I followed slowly behind him, I wasn't sure how far I was going to go it all depended on my leg and how it was feeling... My leg seemed a lot better on this run so I just went with it and took it mile by mile,  my goal was to try and see if I could get in  8 miles and I was able to do it. My quads kind of were tired at the end but it was a good thing to have them hurting more than my calf was so I was pleasantly surprised. I mean don't get me wrong my leg is now where close to being healed but today was a positive sign no doubt. I will have a better idea tomorrow and Monday to see how it recovers, my average pace was 8:23 with my total time at 1:08:02 I had a sub 8 minute mile towards the end (7:58), I let my pace get away from me , I was good feeling good. Its so nice to be able to run longer for a change. Ethan did really well, he averaged just under a 8 minute mile I just wanted him to keep it easy and not over do it. He did not like running in the heat so I taught him a good lesson, wake up earlier before it gets hot;) I am really proud of him and he is going to knock his first 10K out of the water, I really think he can run it under 40 minutes.

See ya Monday
