I just did a recovery run today. Started out with a warm up mile of 8:25, Then I ran into some major wind right in my face and it slowed me down to 8:56 2nd mile split. My third mile split was a little better 8:08, and then recovered with a 8:26 4th mile split. My 5th mile split was in 8:19 and my final mile was done in 8:04. My average pace was, 8:24 total time was 50:21. My calf and hamstring felt alot better today I have been doing some strength training on my legs a little more. I am doing 2 to 3 days of lower body wieght training which I do on my easier days of running, so we will see how it helps. So far so good. |
