Harry's hill loop this morning. When I started out  My leg was hurting so bad that I thought I was going to have to quit, but then as the run went on it got better and better and then towards the end it felt great, so I don't know what is up with it. I haven't ever had an injury like this, I don't know if it just goes numb after a mile or so or if it loosens up I can't really tell. I felt strong going up Harry's hill and then I extended the run to the round about to the mail boxes for the woodland hills people and then I turned around and came back home. This is a good hill workout for up hill and downhill training, my average pace was 8:46 and my heart rate average was 141 total time was 1:16:17, I did a tinman tempo on the way back for the downhill with 1 mile at marathon pace (7:48) the rest at a 8:25 pace which is a tinman tempo for me.

I will do a recovery run tomorrow to get ready for the Payson Canyon run on Saturday with my brother Curtis (fast running turtle) that should be a tough one!

Is it your tibia that is hurting? Running severe downhills always aggravates my tibia. You may want to take a break from Harry's Hill until your legs feel better.

When did I become fast? A least I don't have the fast runs.
