After yesterdays long downhill run I needed more recovery time, calf was kind of bothering me today, so that was the main reason for playing it safe. I need a pretty good long run tomorrow, 15 to 18 miles, hopefully my body will cooperate. As I get older it takes me more time to recover, its just something that I am going to have to deal with and accept as much as I hate to admit it! I wish I would have started running 20 years ago then maybe I would have reached my goals by now. Oh well, do what I can and enjoy the journey no matter what or where it takes me. See ya tomorrow. |
