Well my goal this morning was to run out to mini GU corner and do my old out and back, I just wanted to take it easy. Groin area was a little sore, but again tolerable, I am hoping that I will be pain free by the end of the month, at least that is my fervent prayer anyway! My average pace was 9:13 with my heart rate average at 138, total time was 55:42. I did my 6 mile loop and then when I got home my son Ethan wanted to go out for a little half mile run I wasn't going to count this but since my heart was around 140 for the little run I thought I would count it. Ethan kept saying lets go faster dad, lets go faster so I had to real him in just a bit. Tomorrow I hope to do Loafer canyon and this time go a little further up, I also did my lower body weight training. 1 set of each exercise with at least 12 reps in each set, I also did some core training on the rubber-ball and some push-ups...

See ya tomorrow.

Clay, it sure is good to see you logging some miles again. I think keeping the miles easy will help with the fitness and allow your body to heal at the same time....double bonus.

Good luck with Loafer tomorrow Clay! We'll be thinking about you running up while we're running DOWN Payson. Sounds like young Ethan may have inherited a few fast-twitch muscle fibers from his old man.
