My hip and leg felt pretty good when I woke up this morning, but as I got into my run it started to get sore, but tolerable... I think the E-Stem is working so I will continue to do that every night before bed and hope for the best. I ran out towards Payson park but stopped about a mile short as this is an easy day and I need to conserve energy for the long run tomorrow. My average pace was 9:22 with my heart rate at 133, total time was 48:43 so it was a nice easy recovery run. I also did my upper body weight training, 2 sets of each exercise with at least 12 reps in each set. Well, that's about it. long run tomorrow and I am suppose to run with my neighbor and one of his friends so we will see how that goes.

See ya tomorrow.

Good luck with the long run tomorrow. Keep it up with the E-Stem machine, like clock work. I don't know if extra stretching will help with the hip but I know that extra stretching has helped with my hip and back issues. I still have some pain but it seems more tolerable.....could be due to the stretching or could just be a fluke, who knows.

Nice job Clay. So what is your next race going to be?? SGM or you got something else sooner??

From Clay on Fri, Aug 29, 2008 at 14:37:52

Huans32,

I'm just trying to get to SGM, I was injured for all of June and July with no running only cross-training, so I am hopeful.

Jeff- I haven't been doing extra stretching but I think I will start doing it very lightly, as to not aggravate it more.
