I ran out towards Mini GU corner until I ran into my brother and then I ran with him to the base of Harry's Hill, stopped and stretched the IT band and then he headed up Harry's and I headed towards home, bummer... On the way back I had to stop and stretch a few times but I was able to go a little farther between each stretch so that was a good sign. After I returned home my son Ethan was up and waiting for me so we headed out towards the stake center and then extended out towards woodland hills road and then turned for home... He did so well, I had to keep reeling him in. After going 2 miles with Ethan he decided that he wanted to go another one so we ran out towards Payson on canal road a half of a mile and then turned and came back to the house. Ethan is a lot of fun to run with, he makes me laugh. The plan will be for him to run every other day and slowly increase his mileage, he wants to run a 5K so I will see what I can do to help him. Finished up with some push-ups... Average pace for the first 6 miles was 8:30, and the average pace with Ethan was 8:40, HR average was around 135, total time between the two was 1:20:10...

See you Monday

It was good to run with you for a while. Hang in there with the IT Band. Ethen is kickin my butt.

Very cool to run with your son! Nice job on the miles.
