I ran out to Mini GU corner to test out the foot and it felt pretty good going out but then on the way back it started to get sore again and by the time I got back it was hurting again:-( I had some marathon pace miles in there that felt pretty good, other than my foot was sore and those were; Mile 1 8:12, mile 4 7:50, and then I did a half mile pickup (7:25 mile pace). Total time was 52:02 average pace was 8:35 with my heart rate average at 154...

My legs felt really good and the hip was okay, but this PF is a weird injury and I need to find a combination of running and cross training that I can do until it heals up! When I got home I did some stretching and then I went down and did some strength training trying to work out the pain in the foot with some toe raises and then did my regular lower body workout. When I was done with that I hopped on the elliptical for 23 minutes, I kept my RPM above 100 and my heart rate was at 155 for 20 minutes and then I cooled down for 3 minutes, so a  pretty good workout all in all! I will have to see how my foot does throughout the day and then see how it is on Monday and then go from there. I will ice when I get done with this posting and see if that helps, I will also continue to message with the tennis ball twice a day to see if that can get it to heal... If anyone has any other advice out there I would be happy to here it, so feel free to comment.

See ya on Monday.

PM- Just a quick update on my foot and it is NOT good news. I am in alot of pain probably even more than before I had my shot last week, so that is not good!!! Hopefully by Monday it will be well enough to do the elliptical, but I won't hold my breath on that one! I could be out of commission for a good long while, at least as it looks right now. I will see how it feels tomorrow but I am betting that it will be even worse, see you then.
