I ran the flat course today along Canal road except I didn't go as far today as this is an easy day for me less miles and way slow pace... I got Chicked again this morning twice in one week, oh boy! But this time it was alright it was MichelleL and MacK and some other chicha, they about scared me to death, I need to turn the music down on my IPod so I can hear what the heck is going on around me! They are good gals they will always give a wave and a smile, unlike that other chick that passed me a couple of days ago and then I passed her again today but she was going the opposite direction, shes not very nice she won't even acknowledge ya, I mean who does she think she is Deana Kastor... I'm sure if Deana Kastor passed me she would at least give me a thumbs up! We are all part of a running brother and sisterhood, so she needs to lighten up. I need to send MichelleL and the Mack after her they would leave her in the dust!!!

Okay back to the run. Like I said it was nice and easy this morning, my average pace was 8:51 with my heart rate average at 137, total time was 58:33. usual long run tomorrow, I don't know how many yet. I will have to see how I feel.

See ya tomorrow.

Was the lady wearing red? If so I think I know who it is. We crossed her too going the opposite direction today. She actually is better than the lot of us :) I would hope that we all be congenial to other runners. We are all endeavoring to be faster, it's like what stands for - we are all on the same path.

Ya thats her. Its just funny because everyone I pass I can get them to wave, but not her... She needs some humble pie, if you know what I mean.

Clay, I play a game sometimes on the parkway running with Sylvie. I either say hi real load to runners as they pass or try and give them a high five. It is entertaining on the reaction. When my step son was training with me we told everyone your looking good and gave them a high five. It was quite entertaining. Many thought we were kindof nuts. We should always give a wave or say hi, it is their problem if they choose not to be part of the running family.

By the way, if you want major commando points, I want to hear about the fight you give MichelleL to not let her pass you. Never let a runner pass you without a fight. It is good practice for races. I don't care if the guy is a 6 min miler, always give it a fight.
