Got to Las Veas today so I had to run on the TM to do my repeats. I was really not that pleased with the workout as you cn ee from my notes below... couple of bad runs...too many other things of priority right no...not sure but hopefully it will get better in a week or so.

Wasn't really happy with this run. Recoveries were too long and I had to hold the side rails for part of the second two repeats making

Not a bad workout IJR! You need to focus on hitting your marks in the early miles & not exceeding them ... this will enable you to hit your marks in the later miles of your workout. A key element of the plan is hitting consistent repeats ... if you can run the last couple faster, go for it ... but try to reign in the first few & I think you will find yourself getting stronger throughout the workout, not faltering. Remember, you are training for a marathon, so if the plan says run 6:12 or 8:26, you are not helping yourself hit the targets by running 6:00 or 8:02. Just my opinion!

Keep your head up, you are doing great! I can tell you I would have a really hard time running (3) 6:12 repeats ... especially if I ran the first one in 6:00 minutes! Keep up the good work ... and kick some A in the roping!

You never can tell on treadmills anyway, they are probably all a little off in one direction or the other.

I have never been able to run fast on a treadmill. Those are great paces regardless. [Oops - didn't see you were in Vegas.]

I think these treadmills run faster than they're supposed to be :-) or maybe I'm just a little tired.
