Had a flat on my bike this morning before I went out so I had to cut the ride a little short. 15 miles @ 18.1. A little slow as I was tired from the last two days at church camp and running 8 yesterday.

Have you tried getting a cushion for the ball of your foot? Or Moleskin? Hoping you're back at it soon!

Joe, I went to U-Run in New Braunfels and got fitted with custom orthotics. It has helped a lot but still the nagging irritation. It really doesn't hurt too much, it just feels like the ball (middle) of my foot is swollen. It hurts worse first thing in the morning and not so much during the day...not even when I run. I just believe if I continue to run on it, it won't heal.
RT, Those things might add .0005 ounces to my weight, I can't have that! Actually my flat was caused by the stem rubbing where it comes through the rim. :-)
