How'd it go?

From I Just Run on Fri, Apr 08, 2016 at 13:09:44 from 108.178.73.170

I hope okay. This time they cut and shortened the bone then put a pin in it that will be there for a couple of weeks. Again cut my foot top and bottom. I'm going to be out for quite a while.

From Dan on Fri, Apr 08, 2016 at 18:03:05 from 71.72.159.140

That is a lot of cutting. Ouch. Heal well man.

From Tom K on Fri, Apr 08, 2016 at 19:04:46 from 66.87.149.55

Heal quick, bro.

From Tom Slick on Mon, Apr 11, 2016 at 15:48:49 from 168.179.158.193

Here's hoping for a quick recovery! There goes the 2016 running season!

From Hillbilly Runner on Mon, Apr 11, 2016 at 19:25:13 from 173.191.121.34

Ditto what Slick said !! I really think you're going to be a stronger runner when you get this foot thing behind you.

From Derunzo on Wed, Apr 13, 2016 at 16:53:48 from 98.229.177.205

Sorry man. I hope the time passes fast for you. Good luck healing.

Any updates on the foot surgery?

From I Just Run on Wed, Apr 20, 2016 at 08:09:05 from 108.178.73.170

Pin comes out on Friday and hopefully out of the full boot. I guess I won't know anything for several months as the doctor says it will be about 4 month recovery. I do know that my foot is not as sore as with the previous surgery. They did not cut the bottom of my foot this time...but they did cut the bone and shorten it.

From Tom Slick on Wed, Apr 20, 2016 at 08:22:48 from 168.179.158.193

Well this all sounds very encouraging! I do hope and pray this all ends well and you will be able to continue to peruse your passions......

From Yasir on Wed, Apr 20, 2016 at 11:14:44 from 99.20.240.157

How's things?

From I Just Run on Thu, Apr 28, 2016 at 07:49:17 from 107.72.164.59

Hey Slick

I'm so disgusted about my foot I decided to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. Leaving this afternoon!

Just kidding...I am going on a cruise but it's actually one my wife won in her business. It's also our 30th wedding anniversary.

I went to the doctor on Monday and he said the foot looked good. The pin will come out next Monday. It's not nearly as sore on the bottom of my foot as it was after the first surgery. I hope that's a good sign.

Thanks for checking in.

From Dan on Thu, Apr 28, 2016 at 11:17:29 from 24.123.195.132

Happy Anniversary!! Enjoy the cruise and eat some good food for me. Glad the foot feels different than last time.

From Tom Slick on Mon, May 02, 2016 at 09:15:15 from 168.179.158.193

From Rhett on Mon, May 09, 2016 at 10:57:03 from 24.121.249.174

IJR, I hope you had a wonderful cruise and congrats on 30 years! That's great. I hope the R and R on the cruise is just what your foot needed for a full recovery.
