We are on vacation at Garner State Park in South Texas.

1 mile warm-up with Callie @ 9:00 pace. My watch died during the warm-up mile. Callie turned back after the first mile. She was only running 2 miles. I continued to run out completly by feel for a while. I ran a little over an hour at what I believe was about a 7:30 pace.

Garner is a nice park, especially in the summer and when the water is running strong. Right now the water is a little low and it's still too cold to swim. Even in the hot summer the Rio Frio is cold! The park has about 2 days worth of hiking and rock climbing too.

What's up with watches lately? Been reading a lot of blogs with comments about watches dying. They need to make them solar charged like the Citizen Eco Drive watches.

I sent mine back to Garmin and had a new battery put in it. The charge now last about 10-12 hours. I just haven't charged it in a while.
