Wow - that is really impressive.

Congrats on your win! That is one HOT belt buckle! Nice job!!!

Very nice! You need to put something else in the pic for perspective though, like a quarter or something. I'm guessing that thing is about the size of a dinner plate, but it's hard to tell :)

Ha ha Steam...It's about 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" but I do have a couple that are so big you can't really wear them on a belt! Althought this one looks like it's gold and silver, it's really made of bronze. I have a lot of buckles of the same size and style that are all "real" 10K gold and stirling silver. They are worth a fair amount but this one is a fairly inexpensive one...but it looks pretty :-)

Very nice regardless of size. It's always good to bring home some hardware from an event so long as we keep it in persective. Interesting scripture to pair that one up with :)

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the pic. Good thing that you are lean and that you don't have a big flabby belly. Sure fire way to show off the hardware. I work with a couple of dudes that haven't seen their toes in years.

Wow, nice! Do you ever do any events in Abilene? We have a rodeo but I can't remember what time of year...

From Steam8 on Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at 00:37:25 from 166.70.55.77

If I were you, I would wear that everywhere! It is amazing! I always feel like wearing my medallion from running a marathon everywhere for a couple of days...you really can wear your trophy around and be looking good while doing it! :)

RT,

Yes...I could go into a long explination but I think probably get it:-)

Rye,

But you really don't know, Burt told me when I firt got on the Blog that "I could be anyone I wanted to be on the Blog". That's when I changed my name to "I Just Run". So you really don't know if that's me in the picture or some super atheletic running person I just copied and pasted a picture of.

Slow Joe,

I have been to Abiline many times to rodeos and "team ropings" but not in several years. For some reason the better competitions aren't held there anymore.

Steam,

The "joke" in my family (parents not my family) is that I'm not a "real" cowboy. I don't really live the cowboy life other than the competition part. I only wear boots, hat, buckle, etc when I compete. Other than then I dress pretty normal, You wouldn't be able to pick me out in a croud on a city street :-)
