I was talked into trail running by a bunch of running friends. I thought it would be something new and fun. Jason, Paul, Scott, Melissa and I started out early up Diamond Fork Canyon toward the hot pots. I have to say trail running is much harder than I had anticipated. We got up just over 4 miles and decided to turn around and come back. The way back was much easier and we were pushing some really fast miles, about a half mile before we reached our car I slipped on some rocks and took a nasty fall. I definatley got some true battle wounds. After arriving home things weren't quite right and I went to the doctor to find out I have a concussion from the fall. I think it's safe to say I'm a road runner.:) |
