So after taking a very long 7 day break from running, I finally was able to go today. It was pretty cold out, and snow very lightly on and off, but I am glad I went. I am not sure if I have a pulled muscle or it's shin splints, but I was limping around last week, and when I tried to run on Tues, I had to turn around after 1/2 mile. I decided then I had better take some more time off to heal. I did take ibuprofen before today's run, just to make sure it wouldn't hurt too bad. Yea! It was really hard for me not to run, because I feel like I am finally committed to something, I have ran consistently since March 1, and hopefully I can keep on going!! |
