Today since I got the text about Abigails workout after I had already ran I didn't go to her workout. So I went from my house, over to Sugarhouse park, did a lap in their with some other cross country team, then did an outside lap and ran home. When I got home I ran up to Clayton and back to get to 5. I felt like I was going so slow today! I feel so lost without my Garmin! I need it to pace me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PM: Tonight at Tiny Tots I got there early and decided to do a light speed workout because it was centers day where all of the kids do all of the events to try out new stuff so I didn't think I would get a workout in. So I did a mile warm up then changed shoes. I did 4 200s in 32, 31, 32, 32. I felt really good on these. Then I changed back into my shoes and did a half mile cooldown. Then Walter said I was going to do another workout. It was a weird type of Fartlek. Where we sprint all out 50 meters, then go back down to our race pace for 50 meters, then repeat. Since I had already done the 200s I only had to do a half mile of that when everyone else did a mile of it. I felt really fast on that, then I did a lap cooldown to get to 3 this afternoon. |
