Short run up in the avenues while my dad was walking around. I didn't get the XC stuff so I don't know that deal haha Later today I met up with Larry for a short speed workout. I jogged over to Sugarhouse park, and did a half mile warm up with Larry. Then I did 2 150 meter long strides with 2 150 meter long strides progressively getting faster. Then we did 3 200 meter uphill strides progressively getting faster each 20 meters. We had a 200 meter recovery after those jogging back to the start. Then I started the speed. I did 3 200s in 34, 35, 33 with 90 seconds recovery. Then I did a 400 in 72. Todays workout was a good one and a fun one. Then I did a lap cooldown on the track and called it a day. |
