Noon run, partly cloudy, temp 50

After a half mile I ran then next half BF.  It was much better than Saturday, the river trial is much smoother.  I only run at about a 9 min. mile pace while BF.

Time 45:12,  Mile avg. - 7:32

Noon run, partly sunny, temp 52'

Ran a mile then went BF on path for about .6 and then .15 on grass.  My feet don't feel any tougher after three tries.  I'll keep it up for awhile and see what happens.  BFOG is way easy compared to the path.  I feel like I could run 5 miles no problem BFOG.  Now if someone would make a grass path next to the river path I'd be set.

Maybe those BF type sandles are the way to go.

Noon run at gym

Some weights, 5 min. on bike, 2 miles on treadmill in 15 min. with .5 miles of BF.  The feet are not sure they like the abuse but the complaints are mild so far.

I think the transition from a heel striker to BF is just as hard on the newly recruited muscles & tendons as the bottom of my feet.  A very slow transition is the key.

Morning run, rainy, windy, temp. 40'

I ran with Dallas.  We did an 8 min. mile against the wind and a 7:30 with the wind.  I did the last .5 miles BF.
