Evening run, no wind, Temp 65'

I ran up Butterfield canyon.  The first 2 miles have an elevation gain of about 200-300 feet/mile the next two miles are about 500 feet/mile elevation gain.  I felt really good except for a small gut ache.  Probably from eating out the last 3 meals with my lovely wife and eating junk food.  We had the in-laws tend the kids while we enjoyed life for our 19th wedding anniversary.

Mile 1 - 8:25,  Mile 8 - 5:55

Mile 2 - 8:50,  Mile 7 - 6:45

Mile 3 - 10:40,  Mile 6 - 6:50

Mile 4 - 11:10,  Mile 5 - 7:35

I've run 50 miles the last two weeks.  Thats probably only happened a couple of times my whole life.

Time 66:15,  Mile Avg. - 8:17

Congrats Terry on the 50 mile week and also on the 19th anniversary! Hope you and the Mrs. had a great weekend. You'll have to do something really big next year for the big 20.

Like you Terry I logged one of my few ever 50 mile weeks this week. I think we should be in pretty good shape for the relay and for a great running summer.
