I prefer running with dry feet but some days it just doesn't work out.

BTW Terry I just noticed your mileage the last few week - impressive! If you're able to keep that up for a few months you're going to have some amazing race times. I'm thinking some 2:40-2:50 marathons perhaps?

I think you're forgetting I'll be 48 in a week. However, I'd be pretty happy with anything that started with a 2. Like 2:59:59 or better.
It always seems hard to line up perfect race day weather with great training and no injuries.

Ok since your 48 I guess it's ok if you just run a 2:48-2:58 this year. I'm willing to give you 1 minute slower for each 1 year older than 40.
