Afternoon run, partly cloudy, temp 50'

I convinced Dallas to go with me even though he'd played two basketball games earlier in the day.  I thought Dallas would be a little tired and it would be a good day to try out my sandles for a longer run.  The sandles worked great but my lower calf muscles still need to build up to take the different BF stride.

Dallas wasn't near as tired as I thought he'd be.  As with any youngster the closer we got to home the faster he went.  We sprinted the last 100 yards.

Nice run Terry. I'm looking forward to seeing you sporting the Indian sandals at a race some time this year.

I think it would cost me few seconds here and there but it would be worth it for the looks I'd be getting.

So how much did the spiffy sandals cost? (in terms of $$ not seconds:))

From TBean on Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 16:02:40 from 63.241.173.64

The sandals cost $20 + $6 shipping or $26. The sole comes as a 8"*11" sheet of rubber. I then had to trace my foot on the sheet and then cut the soul out with a pair of scissors and then punch the three holes in them and thread the laces.

I kinda felt like the Tarahumara making scandals.
