43 F.  Ran 5 miles with Lisa today at BPA trail, and it felt GREAT.  So happy to be out there.  And it was very very hilly, and we both did great, ran the whole time without walking any of the hills.  Just a tiny sprinkle, it started raining on my drive home so we got done just in time.

Splits: 10:22, 9:36, 9:50, 10:15, 10:07

Walking .4 mile cool-down.  The brace is great, but I have to figure out something about chafing.  Even over the sock, today it rubbed my heel raw.  Maybe I'm tying it too tight?  Or need something else (like lyrcra based?) underneath it?

Maybe you need some of that cool tape the Olympic athletes use. I have no idea what it is. Good luck with that. I'm terribly prone to chafing. It is so nice to see you running again!

Your so encouraging to run with--- I'm so glad we did BPA I feel great about hitting those hills and I can see improvement. I wouldn't have done it without you--- Thank you!!!!

Chaffing sucks, maybe some that body glide stuff, of course then your foot would be greasy but...:) it might work.

Way to go girls!! That is awesome you did those mean hills without walking! That is a hard thing to do! Wished I could have been there with you but so glad you had good weather!

Hope you can figure out something with the chaffing thing. I get that under my arms sometimes and I find that vasoline really helps. You could try that!
