6am- 3 miles. artic circle 3pm- today was 5x1000 and harts warmup/cooldown. Total mileage was 6.75 miles. It was pretty hot again today but not as hot as yesterday. so my splits were 3:12, 3:12, 3:13, 3:17, 3:03. After the 4th one everyone kinda faded a bit. Then coach called the whole team together and had a talk with us. He said there is no such thing as fear. Its just something we make up in our head. He said we've gotta push through the fear and not be afraid of pain. I was really inspired and the next one (which was my last) i pushed hard and got 3:03. It was a good workout. |
