6am - 3 miles. I felt decent and the pace wasn't too bad either. Did some plyos after.
3pm - 9 miles total. 2 mile warmup and then 4 mile repeats. My goal was 5:17. I was feeling a bit nervous about this since my last mile repeats workout was garbage. But it was in the afternoon this time so I didn't have a problem. First was 5:20. Then 5:26. Then 5:16. Pretty hard and I didn't hold back. Then a 5:12. I kept my pace the first three then went hard as I could the last lap. Hung around at the discus ring for a while and did that. I got 77'3". The discus coach said I was using like 1/3 of the power I could get so maybe I could be okay at discus. It's fun, I want to do it at track meets. After that me, Paul and Jake got our cooldown in, 2 miles.
