Am -  Got to the track around 8 so had a long time to chill till the medley relay.  I started my miles with the 800m guys on their warmup.  Ran 2 miles with them, then kept running around till 6 miles.  Getting closer to my race I jogged forever under the bleachers in the shade and got another mile.  Went out to the field, put my spikes on and did a few strides.  Felt decent, a bit tired but good.  My teammates did great and Paul gave me a great handoff into first place.  Two guys hung with me for 500 meters then I got far I head of them.  Solid run for me… then the drama began.

Snow Canyon coach was attempting to get us DQ'd for a long time and a bunch of bull crap.  Paul did take a few steps off, after he got pushed off the track. I was cooling down on the field forever to get my 10 miles in, just waiting for them do medley awards.  Our team was pumped cuz we are pretty sure we broke the school record.  They call it, and what do you know, they give Snow Canyon the first place medals.  I was so pissed wow.  Went out far for a second and chilled.  Turns out nobody who had authority ever DQ'd us so we won!  Shout out to Coach Holt for fighting for us.  Should be fun asking SC coach for our medals back at Dixie next week.  He walked off that field so smug, smh.

Shout out to Eugene, finally met him he's a cool dude.
