I ran eight miles along the highline canal today! I didn't wear a watch, so I was unsure of pacing. After this injury, I have not developed a feel for specific pace. It seems like my coordination is all back, and mentally, I have no problem using my leg again, but details like specific pacing still seem to be a bit off. I guess it is irrelevant, though. I should run based upon perceived effort - pacing is merely a result of the effort level being put in (in various conditions & situations). This is the longest run I have completed in 10wks!!! |
