great Day 6 of the Alabama Relief Run.  the gravity of the day (the six-month anniversary of the April 27 tornadoes) was made clear when we ran through a rural area  of tornado damage.

i must say, the day was made even better by the presence of my good puddy mattaddy (it's a native hawaiian name) aka, fatmanrunning here on FRB...

Day 7 of the Alabama Relief Run.

Blazing, thanks to pacers Eric Fritz and Jon Elmore (jelmo on the blog...)

Got to run by a huge swath of damage around here and got to meet the people from the Wrangler plant that was destroyed in the tornado (with them inside...), which was pretty moving for me...

Day 8 of the Alabama Relief Run in the books!  Only 2 more days! Got to meet some folks in Phil Campbell, AL who were really affected by the tornadoes, which was pretty cool.  One 70+ lady laced up her shoes and even ran with my Inimitable Mother and me for a bit!
