Back from a stretch of the winter blahs last week. I didn't intend to take that much time off, but just kind of got in a rut and all of a sudden was falling out of shape. Snow's on the ground and it's cold now, so I went to the Y. I just did 3 miles at 8:30 pace, easing back into it (though I didn't feel like I could have run a lot faster). I could feel the layoff, sluggish and my heart rate is definitely up. It'll take a bit to regain the fitness lost. But hopefully I can get back into a winter routine and start to set some goals for next year, it felt really good to run again. 25:45 supernova red -- 103
