| | Met Chris Lemke and Mike at Banner Forest just before dawn, we felt our way through the trails for a few minutes without headlamps and then the sun came up on a beautiful morning. Nice run through the woods down there. 1:00:30 brooks cascadia red | Add Comment |
| | Warren-Manette Bridge loop. Both achilles and calves are incredibly tight and sore from Saturday, I can't figure out why that happened. Very odd, but maybe that's what I get for being out of shape. 38:02 supernova sequence | Comments(2) |
| | Not too much rain on Beach Drive this morning; at least it was warm. We ran out for 28 minutes, came back in about the same time. 56:10 supernova sequence | Add Comment |
| | Now it's pouring out there, fall showed up. About three on the indoor track at the Y on a lazy Sunday afternoon, then a little hoops. supernova sequence | Add Comment |
| | At the (redesigned) YMCA on the treadmill. Slowly but surely. 31:00 | Comments(1) |
| | Mike and I decided on a trail run/mushroom hunt for Saturday, and went to Newberry Hill. We parked at Klahowya and sat in the car waiting for the sun to come up, it was pouring and dark. By 7:15 we headed out. Ran for 45 minutes on the trails there, actually found some new stuff I hadn't been on, and then stopped to look for chantrelles. We each picked half a bag or so and decided we were wet enough to call it off. 10 minute run back to the cars. 55:10 brooks cascadia 5 | Add Comment |
| | Skies dried up during the day today, so I took advantage of the waning daylight on the 11th-Shore Drive loop. I had played basketball for 90 minutes after my Saturday run, and could feel it today. 29:15 supernova sequence | Add Comment |
| | It's no Frankenstorm, but Btown is getting soaked today. So 4 brisk miles inside on the treadmill at the Y. My only complaint is that the Y TVs get ESPN (stupid poker tournament) instead of ESPN2 (NBA opening night). Other than that a good little run, it's nice to feel hungry again. 31:00 supernova sequence | Comments(1) |
