Run at least one marathon every year until I buy the farm.

Qualify for Boston Marathon.

Personal:

Started running in November 2007 to get fit. Now I'm back almost to square one after back surgery. I did it once and I'll do it again.

Easy run. Took the whole week off last week. Right calf still tight but I was more or less recovered by last Wednesday. I'll ease back into it the rest of the month and probably do more cross training.

Easy run on the GB during lunch. Fall colors, cooler temps and bright sunshine along the Boise River. Beautiful. Calves felt a little better today.

Lunchtime run on the GB. The outside edge of my right foot is really killing me. Not the foot that had been bothering me all year. Had to turn around and cut the run short. Hoping that its not a stress fracture but its painful just to walk on.
