Qualify for Boston Marathon. Personal: Started running in November 2007 to get fit. Now I'm back almost to square one after back surgery. I did it once and I'll do it again.

| | Lunchtime run on the GB. Fall colors are amazing along the Boise River. Legs feeling better every day. Longest run since last month's marathon. We continue to have nice temps and no wind. I will take advantage of it this week because it looks like it will change toward the end of the week. |

| | Easy progression run on the Boise River GB from Muni Park. On the cool side but very little wind to speak of. All the leaves are gone but still a very pleasant place to spend the lunch hour. |

| | Easy run on the GB from FF Memorial to Willow Lane. Very mild temps and no wind. Rain coming for the evening and through the weekend. Ran into a dude that owed me money. I didn't even have to say anything. He just opened his wallet and paid me 1/2 of what he owed me. I said, "Don't make me look for you next time!" :) |

| | GB run from Muni Park to ParkCenter Bridge. Still battling flu-like symptoms but getting better. I've had a nasty cough for almost 2 weeks now. More than anything its played havoc w/ my sleep. Nice day for late November, 40's w/ sunshine. |

| | Washington, D.C. In the nations capital for a couple of days. Always fun to run on the mall. The days are short now so had to do it in the dark which was a different experience with the monuments lit up. Very pretty. I'm over the cold-flu symptoms. Just need to get more consistent with the workouts. |
