Personal:

Started running in November 2007 to get fit. Now I'm back almost to square one after back surgery. I did it once and I'll do it again.

"In truth, runners don't race other runners. They race against themselves: to conquer their wills, to transcend their weaknesses, to beat back their nightmares. And while a runner can't actually beat himself, he can beat his time. Even years into running, he can get better."  Running for His Life by Michael Hall.

615AM:  General aerobic run.  A little better pace this morning but the hammie/glute is still barking.  Visiting my chiro during lunch and hoping for some relief.  The good news/bad news is that Pokey is only a little more than 3 wks away and so the taper is only 1 wk away.

Get yourself feeling better! Good run, looking strong for Poky, especially when you can get over this nagging hammy issue.

Went to the chiro and I think its getting better. OBTW, I understand you work at INL. If you come across Jeremy Westwood say hey for me. Haven't seen him in ages but we used to be fishing buddies when he was going to school over here at BSU.

Wow, a small world...Jeremy and I are just finishing a construction project together! I am the federal project guy and he is my contractor project manager on our building. We have become friends and he just ran the Odgen marathon! I will let him know you said hi.
