Beautiful morning!  Left calf is pretty tight.

P.M. 3.5 miles in 7:18 pace

My left calf and hip flexor were not particularly agreeable today.  Did some dynamic stretching afterwards and iced my left lower calf.  I guess it wouldn't be a proper race taper without some annoying niggles sprouting up.  Aaron is going to rub them out tonight and I'm hoping the strides tomorrow will help flush out my legs too.  Flight to Houston early tomorrow morning!!  I'm getting SUPER excited!!

Best of luck to you. It seems like you are extremely ready for this race.

Go Nan!

Hey, I just noticed that your picture was taken by Mike Scott of Dunder Mifflin.

I go to check out how Ryan Hall did in the Houston Half, and lo and behold, Nan Kennard finishes 3rd in the women's race. Great work. On the Runner's World feed, they were loving the fact that you were a mother of 3--one fast mother. Congratulations.
