Returned home late last night from a week in Lake Powell.  It was pretty epic.  We sank a boat, weathered severe wind and rain, watched my brother-in-law get stitched up by a camp neighbor right there in camp, explored winding slot canyons, built sand canyons on the beach, lathered sunscreen every three hours, woke up to beautiful sunrises, savored breathtaking sunsets and billions of stars, wakeboarded some glassy water, and witnessed the marvel and wonder in my kids eyes as they experienced it all for the first time.

My brother-in-law was kicked in the mouth by a shade canopy foot as it was blowing away. Luckily our camp neighbor was an orthopedic surgeon, also a BYU Men's Volleyball alum.
