Parachute run.  Its official.  February is "month of wind."

True story: Last week I made a new friend at a Relief Society meeting (I know, hard to believe.) She is from Oklahoma and claims to "love" wind.  "Really???" I asked her.  "You love wind?  WHY???"  "Oh, I don't know, it just makes me feel alive!"  "Reminds me of home."

Wow.  I must need an attitude change then because wind makes me feel like laying down and dying.

Happy Birthday to Aaron today!!  31 years young!

She must not be running very far :) Nice miles!

Can you guess what I would have done after she told me she loves wind?

I'm a wind hater, and unfortunately live in the wrong place for that. However, tailwinds are quite fun!

I never understood how any colleges in Wyoming could have ultimate frisbee teams. Practices would be an exercise in frustration and endlessly picking up a frisbee from 30 yards away.

When we were out on the track today, there was a full minute difference in pace from one side of the track ot the other, with the same level of exertion. You can only imagine what our first few track meets are like out here!

Karen, pull my finger.

Jon-Argh! Seriously. Wyoming is the worst for wind. We often stop in Wamsutter (talk about a SWEET name for a town) for gas on our way to Utah and I have to brace myself for the strong winds...they almost blow your door off.

They make me so proud.

Hey, Toby had a poop encounter, too. Don't leave me hanging sister!
