I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 6.5 miles of treadmill running, 1 mile row.
4th of July 5k training is progressing.
AM: 7.5 treadmill miles plus 1 mile row.
The Supreme Court today ruled that the 14th Amendment means what it says. Now I don't have to change my American Government curriculum for next school year. Good job guys and girls.
AM: 9.25 elipticle miles.
PM: 6.5 treadmilling, 1 mile elipticalling.
AM: Fun time at the Sandy 4th of July 5k. Didn't push it too hard. Finished 1st out of two people in the 60-64 age group.
