Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.
Married, two kids - Abby and Andy
AM: 1.25 miles to the Blue Plate Diner - met Ann for breakfast at 8 am on her way home from work.
PM: 6 miles around the neighborhood.
AM: 100 push-ups/sit-ups
PM: 9 fairly hard treadmill miles.
AM: 2 easy miles.
PM: 15.25 miles on the stationary bike.
AM: 120 push-ups/120 sit-ups/core
PM: 9 treadmill miles followed by another evening freezing my rear end off at Andy's baseball game. It's not hard to understand why in all of major league baseball there is one player from the state of Utah.
PM: 7.25 miles - Gully Longer Run. Snowy, windy, and cold but I enjoyed it. Feeling stronger.
AM: Easy 6 miles around the neighborhood.
Noon: 4 easy, 10 stadiums.
