I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Squeezed in a treadmill run between the end of school, track practice, and something we here at Alta call "Advanced Academics Night" where we showcase all our wonderful AP and concurrent enrollment options to the community. All I know is that few people show up, I have to be at work until 8 pm and I get paid an extra $50.00.

How's that for complaining? I am happy I have a job though.

Oh yeah...one of my miles was in 5:58!!!!!

Just 2 years ago I could string together 13 sub 6 minute miles without too much trouble. Now I celebrate one.

$50 extra is nice. Despite what both companies told me when I interviewed, neither of my employers have ever paid me a cent of overtime pay, even when doing 60 hour weeks. 'Merica.
