Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Unexpected conflicts arose and I won't be able to make it down to St. George to race this weekend.

I've had a really difficult last 36 hours, mostly at work. But I think it has passed. We just re-financed our mortgage and we closed on that this afternoon. 3.24 % for 15 years - pretty good deal.

Good mental health run this evening and I needed it. 10 miles in 1:12 with several hard striders on the HH track. Also pushed the hills hard in Sugarhouse Park.

Sorry you won't be able to make the race, life gets in the way a lot when you have family and work commitments.

Glad you have weathered the storm for now. Runs that clear the head are always good.

I think the inner SHP loop is going to be where I do most of my tempos to get ready for Boston. If you can run that loop hard, it makes you very strong.
