I lack fitness.

Andy ran 30:30. I was really proud of him.

Pm: 4.25 easy miles around the neighborhood. Qualifies as a rare double.

Also did a two mile walk with Ann who, unfortunately, has to go to work tonight.

56 miles for the week! Biggest total in 23 weeks.

Can I copy your post? Maybe the wind was worse than we thought :)

Congrats to Andy!

Still fun to get out there for the first race of the year even with the sub-par result. I've only been averaging 30 to 40 mpw, so really not that bad.

Maybe I'll be able to ramp things up a bit in the coming weeks?

All considered it looks like you ran a pretty decent race. I have actually been running more than usual for this time of the year but with very few quality miles. Maybe it's time to hit the stairmaster hard :)

That machine works for you!

but, you followed one of your own points of wisdom, which is to be okay with racing even when you aren't in perfect shape. nice job to both you and andy.

I'd like to borrow your lack of fitness.

Looks pretty good to me Rob. That wind coming back can just suck it right out of you on that course. I wish I could of come but the wife informed me that it just wasn't in the budget.

Great race Rob. Thanks for that last mile. You kept me going.

You're welcome James. Sorry I had to lay down and take a nap with 200 meters to go. :)

Sweet! There are some new Masters running the circuit this year. I'm depending on you to hold the old guys. I have to work weekends all summer.

From Rob Murphy on Sat, Jan 31, 2015 at 16:52:22 from 24.10.247.181

Thanks Steve but I was actually 3rd in 50-54. Not a very good start.

A good rust buster, Rob.

Not as good as some other years, but better than others:
