Hobbled around the Alta track a little bit.

After that I did a fairly hard workout in the weight room with lots of core. That's something.

I'm choosing to vote for Ralph Becker for a third term as Salt Lake City's mayor today rather than Jackie Biskupski simply because I don't feel like saying "Biskupski" for the next four years. I know, not the best way to choose.

Actually, makes perfect sense.

To no avail…looks like Biskupski won.

I don't really know much about local (or any level for that matter) politics, but I talked to a couple people at Wasatch Backcountry Alliance and their group was supporting Biskupski... I guess she is opposed to building a stupid train up Little Cottonwood and tunnel connecting the canyons, which is all I need to know to make her my choice. So hopefully from a environment protection angle, this is good. SLC controls the watershed so the mayor has a big stake in the Mountain Accord.

Plus she has pledged to solve the homeless problem! So there's that.
